Dr. Asad Ali Noor is the Chief Executive Officer of Healing Door Rehabilitation Centre (HDRC) Islamabad. He is a highly qualified Consultant Psychologist and Addiction Therapist, holding a PhD in Psychology, along with his graduate and postgraduate degrees in Psychology. Over the years, Dr. Asad has gained extensive experience in addiction treatment and psychiatric rehabilitation. He has worked in various hospitals and rehabilitation centers under the supervision of leading addiction specialists and psychiatrists across Pakistan. He began his professional journey at PRC Rehabilitation Karachi, where he received foundational training in addiction and psychiatric care, and later served as Head of Psychology at SPI Rehab Islamabad. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Asad is a motivational speaker and professional trainer, actively involved in training psychologists and mental health professionals in the field of addiction recovery across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). His dedication to spreading awareness about drug abuse prevention has led him to collaborate with multiple national and international organizations. Dr. Asad is a member of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) and has completed comprehensive training sessions organized by UNODC on the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC 1–8) in collaboration with the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority. Recently, he successfully completed Advanced Training in the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC 9–15) for addiction treatment, further enhancing his expertise with global best practices. In addition to his work in Pakistan, Dr. Asad serves as the Country Lead Clinician and Psychotherapist at CIC London, UK, representing Pakistan and Afghanistan. Dr. Asad Ali Noor has also made numerous appearances on national and international media platforms, where he speaks on topics related to mental health, addiction recovery, and psychological well-being, contributing to the growing public dialogue around these crucial issues.
